Reliability wise? But I pulled the trigger on a pair also hope they last!
I've had them for 10,000 km's so far, didn't face any issues and still pushing strong.
Car is tuned @chrisdfv on 21-22 PSI (93 OCT + Meth) and pulls really good. 579HP (virtual dyno) will be hitting a real dyno by the in a couple of weeks.

So I went with 17t turbos from viv

do you guys recommend still balancing and getting them check out by a local turbo service specilist?

also besides getting the turbo kit from ecs tuning what else would I need to complete the install or recommend maintance to do while front subframe is off?

thanks

I would for peace of mind, it is small money. The labor to install these is a bitch.

As far as maintenance, you could do your water pump and motor mounts. That is really the only other things in the area iirc. I guess a front sway bar?

Any update on the 17t VIV turbos? Are they proving to be reliable? My stockers are starting to smoke.....trying to decide if I want to roll the dice on a set of these chinese turbos.
Viv 17t’s are proven to last. I know of a few people who have been running them for 20k+ miles. I’m running 19t’s I had upgraded and rebalanced by turbo labs.
